Get to Know Adaptive Products for Babies, Kids, and Teens
Pediatric Surgeon Dr. Julie Sanchez first saw a need for adaptive apparel in 2015 after a parent highlighted the daily impact of medical devices on families. Determined to help her patients beyond the operating room, she found available solutions were limited and bland. Teaming up with fashion designer Saba Kamaras, they founded Spoonie Threads to create adaptive clothing that merges style with functionality.
