Our Adult Zip Access Hoodie is designed to look good and feel great for everyday wear while giving chest and abdomen access for treatment days or post-surgery.

It features two MRI-friendly plastic zippers at the top for chest port access on both sides, and a third zipper above the kangaroo pocket for abdominal access and device storage. We strategically placed snaps for the hood to hold the zipper opening closed at the top, giving you more coverage, warmth, and to secure lines while not affecting port access during chemo or infusion treatment.

Inside the large zippered Spoonie Signature Pocket, you'll find two features: a smaller pocket perfect for storing devices like insulin pumps or phones; and a 4 inch opening with a snap closure to the stomach. The opening provides access to run feeding tubes, insulin pump tubing, or catheters through. Enjoy all this accessibility in a soft, warm hoodie french terry fabric available in solid or color block styles.

ACCESSIBLE: Zippers on both sides of the hoodie top allow access to ports on either side of chest with ease for treatments. And the large front pocket has a zipper pocket with a smaller interior pocket for medical device or medicine storage. A snap closure opening allows abdomen access for feeding tubes, insulin pumps, tubing, or catheters. Nurses and techs love this top!

COMFORT: Crafted for warmth and comfort, this soft cotton-blend hoodie keeps you cozy during infusion treatments, with a front pocket to keep your hands warm. Plus the plastic zippers are not cold on the skin and are MRI-friendly.

VERSATILE: Open both sets of chest zippers for a wide opening that makes dressing easier for people with limited mobility or those who are recovering post-surgery. The zippers are plastic, making them MRI-friendly and can be used to secure loose lines during treatment by partially closing them. Use the front pocket to warm your hands and the zippered pocket to store medical devices, meds or a phone.

HOSPITAL OR HOME: Designed for medical access this top is also stylish for everyday use for men, women or teens. No need to undress for treatments. The hoodie offers discreet zippers on both sides of the chest, providing easy access to broviacs, central lines, and chemo ports. A front zippered pocket offers storage of medical devices or personal items with a smaller interior pocket and a snap closure opening with abdomen access to feed tubes or lines through including insulin pumps. A super soft cotton blend gives added warmth and comfort during treatments with front pocket for hands, while plastic zippers are MRI-friendly and perfect for securing loose lines during treatment. Amazing hoodie

I wish I found this hoodie years ago, it is such a blessing. The zippers on the neck on the front allow me to get it on and off by myself, I can also put it on or off with my neck collar on (I have cci). I can take ice packs in and out. I can also feed my power cord for my heated scarf through to a larger battery pack in the kangaroo pouch. I can keep meds and head phones in the kangaroo pouch without dropping anything and still keep my hands warm in side pockets. The hood is big enough to keep light out of my face because I have serious light sensitivity. The inside could be softer/warmer/thicker but that is my only criticism. Really accessible for me. I need two because I just wear it til it is to dirty!

Great sweatshirt - ran big for us

This is a very well-made sweatshirt. My daughter loves the "kangaroo" pocket in the front. She is wearing it, but it is quite large for her. For reference, we ordered a Size Small. She is 5 feet—110#. This was too big—definitely size down. She is a wheelchair user, and the front pocket is wonderful for holding her phone and other essentials. We will be ordering more, just in a smaller size.
